Epson launches affordable multifunction colour laser printer series with low running costs
9 April 2010 – Epson launches a new colour laser multifunction printer series across the EMEAR region which will be available to purchase from 1st May 2010. The AcuLaser CX16 delivers fast 3-in-1 printing, copying and scanning at a low cost per page, and replaces the successful Epson AcuLaser CX11 series whilst the AcuLaser CX16NF offers 4-in1 functionality with integrated fax and full networking capability . With a first page out time of 14 seconds for mono and 23 seconds for colour, print speeds of up to 19 pages per minute in mono and 5 in colour and a duty cycle of up to 35,000 pages per month, the new series offers small and medium businesses efficiency, and reliability and significantly strengthens Epson’s colour laser line-up.
AcuLaser CX16
The AcuLaser CX16 is compact and easy to set up, with high speed USB 2.0 and a small footprint to fit into any business environment. Front access makes it very easy to change or replace paper and toner cartridges, and the 200-sheet multipurpose tray offers media flexibility.
Printing at a resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi, the AcuLaser CX16 uses Epson AcuBrite toner for professional quality colour output. High capacity cartridges along with ENERGY STAR®-qualified power efficiency ensure that running costs are kept low.

The AcuLaser CX16NF offers full 4-in-1 capabilities with high quality printing, copying, scanning and built-in fax together with full network connectivity. It features an automatic document feeder for the scanner, a USB host for direct printing from a memory stick plus optional double-sided printing and a high capacity 500-sheet paper cassette.
